Moving Questions – FAQ Storage Questions >General Questions > Q1: How does moving with Song work? A1: Moving with Song is easy. We drop off a portable song storage unit at your home. After you’ve filled it with your belongings, one of our drivers picks it up and transports it to your new doorstep. Q2: How do I know my belongings won’t shift in transit? A2: Our portable storage units are custom designed with customized tie-down rings that guarantee all of your belongings stay safely where you packed them. Q3: When will you pick up my stuff? A3: We’ll pick up your belongings at your convenience. Just schedule the time and a driver will be there with bells on. Q4: How far will you move my stuff? A4: As long as you’re starting in the San Francisco area, we’ll move it anywhere in the continental US. Q5: What can I move in my Song? A5: Unfortunately, there are a few items that can’t be transported in one of our portable units (like live animals). Take a look at our do’s and don’ts page to see specific details. Q6: How do you transport my stuff? A6: We transport your belongings using really cool pink trucks. At your convenience, a Song driver will come to your house, load the portable storage unit and carry it away. Q7: Will Song pack my stuff for me? A7: Unfortunately, no, but who’s going to pack your belongings with more care than you? Q8: Do you do international moves? A8: No. We’re working out the bugs on a floating truck patent – but we’re not quite there yet. Q9: Can I rent one of your sweet, pink trucks? A9: Sad to say, but no.
